I am trying to create a custom message form for Outlook. It should be
version independent supporting OL2000 and above. I created a simple custom
form with a MessageClass as IPM.Note.MyMessage. There is no script embedded

| That registry value is written whenever you elect to show the Bcc field in
an email, but it's only read when Outlook starts up.
Once Outlook is running the value is cached in memory and the changed
registry value isn't used.
So setting the registry value would only be useful after exiting and
restarting Outlook, or if Outlook wasn't already running.

I Send a mail to one of my customer, He replied from the same mail using
reply option.
I Received the mail but the mail does not have reply message, It had my
original message.

| For the past several days Outlook 2000 SP4 on Win 2000 Pro SP4 has been
behaving very strange.
When I delete an open email, it seems to have been deleted, but the open
email stays on the screen until I click the mouse anyplace on the screen -
then the screen updates and the previously deleted email closes.
I've scanned for viruses and don't have any.
Anybody ever experience this?... |

I am enumerating the accounts using IOlkAccountManager and fetching the Account Ids. I have only 2 accounts (exchange and IMAP4). However the SetOrder is failing with an error E_ACCT_WRONG_SORT_ORDER which is bizarre 'cos I am using an array of size 2.
Can anyone help me here?

| If the contact is the active window then it's the ActiveInspector. Assuming
that you do exactly what I said, it's really simple.
Say Edwin's contact is oContact2:
ActiveInspector().CurrentItem = oContact2;
That's it, that's all you have to do.

Outlook 2003, XP SP2 with Exchange Server
Everytime I drag a Outlook message to my desktop folder.
I got an error "Operation Failed Due to Network or Communication Problems."
I did uninstall and reinstall Office with no help.
I did disable AV but no help.

| From what I understand you're doing things the way they should be done. You
get a folder, Deleted Items in this case, get its Items collection and
handle the ItemAdd event on that Items collection.
You can take a look at the templates I have for Outlook addins on my Web
site if that helps. I have them in VS 2005 for C#, VB.NET, VSTO/C# and
VSTO/VB.NET. I also have one there for VB6.... |
