Boy do I feel your pain completely! I have been sounding off on this board
for almost 5 years about stupid oversights as this. MS has become a clueless

| ok i found an app that needs to be applied to BCM that enables sync with
Windows Mobile 6.
however it does not seem to do wireless sync. this is pretty lame IMHO
anyone got any better experiences of this?

| I have sent an e-mail marketing campaign via business contact manager. I
found that most of the mails sent with the Microsoft e-mail delivery service
were treated as spam. I resent them via Outlook from my own domain and most
got through.
However I do not want to use my own domain to send the emails in future I

| I started this very basic concept in February of 2007 and here we are in July
of 2008 and still no update to allow this to happen. Too bad as this is the
one feature that makes BCM not really work. I tried for several years to make
OA and BCM work but the disconnect is too great. I have become convinced that
the MS design staff does not have real world job experience in the field... |

Some of my computers reject the BCM's installation process.
I mean, it stops suddenly during the SQL express DB installation
(startup, actually)
It seems related to the Windows installation but I can't figure out
what's wrong. I assume that because I tried to reinstall the whole
computer (windows, office/outlook...) and the installation could finish.
I just can't do that for... |

| Help, I installed service pack 3 for XP and suddenly mu business contact
manager in Office 2007 is gone. In outlook I go to customize the tool bars
and it has BCM to check, but when I check it it "dongs" and won't let me.

I have been unable to successfully get my old Business Contact Manager
database into the new software by trying to get the new PC/BCM to recognize a

personal contacts. These are really two different folders so the information
for each is separate.

Thanks for the suggestions.
The MICROSOFTSMLBIZ is set to Automatically start and is started.
I deleted the default mail profile and created a new profile. The same error
occurs when starting Outlook.
Any additional suggestions would be appreciated.

| Luther, I disagree. BCM is not responsive on our gigabit LAN. The symptoms
described by the other users in this thread match ours precisely. Even when
working locally, connected at gigabit speeds, our BCM is TERRIBLY slow! The
entire BCM database slows outlook down to a crawl. It just took me about 20
minutes to compose a fairly simple e-mail that should have taken me 3-5
minutes.... |

add/change user name/passwords on their personal pc's .
