| Tools -> Trust Center -> Add-ins
Check to see that BCM add-in was not disabled by a previous Outlook crash.
If it was, at the bottom "Manage |disabled items|" -> Go -> enable BCM. All
my problems went away.

the database with a peer-to-peer network. We also save all business files in
a shared folder on "Computer 1."
When I link a file to a business contact while working on computer 1, the
link shows up as C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\File. This
file is then only able to open on Computer 1.... |

running Vista. I have also installed the add-in onto my Windows Mobile 6
phone for BCM mobile. Everything onthe XP side works fine..when I sync..I
see the changes made to either the PC or phone. The problem is when I try to
sync with the Vista PC only the standard Outlook files are sync'd, not the

| If it is public folder you could set custom permissions by choosing under
Delete Items none. If they have Edit permission they could change all the
information, but the record could not be deleted. You could set a
combination like Edit Own Items, Delete Own Items so only records they
created could be edited or deleted.

Full Name, and in Other Settings, clicking Show Items in Group. It then puts
each contact into its own group of one, the account listed by each name is

| Yes, Vista.
Actually, I was impatient and just turned off BCM completely. I didn't use
it anyway. I was trying to get the menu/tool bars to stay put and hoped the
BCM bar was the issue. It cleaned it up a little, as now there's one less
bar, but they still don't remain in the same place.
Is it a Vista issue. Or could the McAfee bar be causing the same problem as
BCM?... |

support (like the database admin tool) is not the same for the french
version, you will understand when you read.
i guess from your email that you are french, unfortunately the database
admin tool does not support bcm in french, it only works for english version.
so you will have to create the database manually... |

users, Act is going to stop being useful. Sage Software is built around
applications that run on big server farms and integrate with other enterprise
apps. Act was purchased so they could get their foot in the door with a CRM
front ent. Thier entire development outlook is not for single users.

flag them for review.
As an alterantive, you can just drag the email to Tasks and continue note
taking there.
