Outlook email etc. opens just fine, but every time I try open the Business Contact manager, Outlook crashes and prompts the "error report" notice. I added several contacts and accounts to the Business Contacts program, but I can't imagine that this would cause the problem, seeing as that's what the program is designed for. Any ideas?...

I have Office LIVE Small Business, Outlook 2007 BCM (with Outlook Connector) plus a Windows Mobile 6 Smartphone. My business contacts on Office LIVE sync to a different contacts database ('other contacts') than the BCM database? I Un-hid my "AppData" under "Documents" using "Tools, Folder Options, View", hit radio button to "Show hidden files and folders". Have you run the BCM for Outlook 2007 Database manager tool? This allows you to share a database to other computers, seems to be a requirement of sql server. I have defined a new view by copying an existing view, renaming it and then selecting the fields I want. I had to do something similar. First of all, if you have imported the data already, open the Biz Contact card and click on User-Defined fields on the Ribbon Bar. During the import, it is possible BCM created the missing fields and populated them. They only show up under User-Defined view Otherwise, you need to create the user-defined fields for some of the info you want to capture....

I know that there are many complaints about the ability to use follow up flags with BCM. My issue is a variation on the theme. I set a follow up flag on an opportunity, and then complete the follow up.
