My Outlook 07 w/BCM is linked to my AOL e-mail account, and Outlook has setup a Folder in the name of my AOL e-mail address. In order to "permanently delete" an e-mail I need to first Delete it (putting a line thru the e-mail title) and then go back and Purge it. While this is a minor pain for mail in my Inbox, Saved & Sent folders, all I ever want to do with mail in Spam folder is a one-step purge. Also, if I click on the Spam folder, Outlook "opens/shows me" the first piece of spam mail on the list. Since AOL does a great job of sifting out the spam, why would I want to automatically "see" any of it? So, looking for help/guidance and here's my questions: - Is there a way to set some type of option to have the Purge mail function work without first Deleting the mail? - Only the Delete command appears on the pop-up menu when you right mouse on a list of e-mails. Is there a way for me to add the Select All and Purge commands to the right mouse click pop up menu? (The way it is now, for me to permanently delete all my Spam mail, I have to select Edit, Select All, Edit, Delete, Edit, Purge .... bizarre!). - Is there a way to have Outlook just show me a list of e-mails in a folder and NOT "open/show me" the content of an e-mail unless I double click it on the list? This is especially true for mail in the Spam folder, which I typically don't want to see. Thanks, Rick
