| Hi Luther,
How can I import contacts and accounts into BCM at the same time?
When I did the import with my excel files, I could not see any option to do
this.
I have 18000+ contacts and 1700+ accounts so I don't want to have to setup
the links manually.

| Just launched an email marketing campain and the tracking doesn't seem to
work. I used a Publisher document and I clicked on enable email tracking but
the system never asked me yes or no so I just sent the campain. Sofar (3
hours later) tracking doen't give me any delivery status.

| I just installed BCM to my laptop. I dragged one record over from my Outlook
Contacts to test. Whenever I edit the record and try to save, the following
error appears: "business contact manager cannot save this item because it
does not recognize some of the properties"
I always have to close the screen without saving the changes to get out of it.

| Thanks Luther, I discovered the Polling Interval yesterday and have adjusted
most of the computers here to roughly a 3 hour interval. So far, so good, the
freezing in word editor in outlook seems to have stopped.
Anyone else reading this might want to evaluate the length of this polling
interval if having the same problems we were. We may have days where not one
change has been made to... |

| I have created user-defined fields in my Account records and would like to
print off individual account contact records. Right now, when I see a print
preview of the record, it lists all of the field alphabetically. Is there a
way to format the printing of an individual record so that I can put certain

Success.... Thank you!!!
Yes set up a new profile with a test name and BCM startup ran fine. So I
deleted the old profile and set up a new profile with the original name and
this also was successful in initiating BCM.

| I never use "Accounts". They were created as a substitute for "Groups" when I
converted my ACT! database to BCM but they never accurately reflected the
Groups from ACT! So, I just deleted my Accounts and discovered thatI had
deleted all but 90 of my entire 2,000+ contacts! I fond the deleted accounts

| hi Guys,
Installing BCM on a client he ask me to put some extra fields special to
their business, but i have a problem for the TEXT fields. First it have a
limitation of 96 chars and it cannot be multiline.
Anyone have a solution for this ? is like very URGENT !
Microsoft have any clues if there are new version or update to correct or

| You should have a business contact manager CD included with your purchase.
Office 2007 comes with business contact manager. If not then you can also i
belive download the BCM for free from the office download center thru
microsoft.

Try deleting
C:\Users\"UserName"\AppData\Local\Microsoft\FORMS\FRMCACHE.DAT
file and see if that fixes the issue.
Please not "UserName" in the file location above should be your computer
user name

You should be able to find that under
C:\Users\"USER Name"\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Business Contact Manager folder
if this was an Upgrade from XP.
If you launch outlook, BCM First Use Wizard will find that for you.

2. Detach and then re-attach the database

workgroup. I get a error message like: "The password that DBP uses to log on

| It is supposed to work so that when I create a project task, an entry is made
in my tasks list of the To-Do bar in Outlook 2007. It used to work fine, but
I was having other problems. To fix those problems, I changed the port SQL
server listend on from a default port of 2879 to port 5356.
That fixed all of my problems, but now when I create a project task, I no
