Why BCM over Outlook?
Lon Orenstein
2 / 2 13 Mar 2008
Sure. You get Opportunities that are linked to Business Contacts and/or Accounts. You get a Communication History of all the things that you've done with a contact and account. The account "rolls up" all the interactions from all the contacts that are part of that account. You can use a basic project tracking function with Business Projects and assign tasks to users. All the emails...

We use BCM 2007 on our 2003 server, and we have 4 active directory users who share the database which is deployed onto the server using the BCM database tool. Resending existing Marketing campaign
LarryM

I find it extremely disappointing that you cannot do something as simple as add a new contact to an existing campaign. Most of the CRM's I've used allow for a marketing campaign to be built, and then when a new client or prospect is entered, it will start them at the beginning of the campaign. What's the point of an automated Marketing system if you have to recreate it for every new...
