only to learn that everything is a chore. Some things I have learned that
might help: work in contacts then move (drag them to BCM). You can create

| Sorry for the delay in responding, though I'm afraid the answer will
not help you.
I believe the behavior you're observing is as intended, since BCM can
share all BCM information between users, but it cannot share Outlook
information.
On the first computer, the task is an Outlook task, and so is stored
with Outlook and appears in the ToDo bar. On the second computer, the

| I have installed the trial version of Office Small Business with BCM and
Accounting 2008. I have run the integration wizard but none of the accounts
have transferred across from BCM. I also can't conduct a mail merge in the
trial version of Word.
Is this because I am using the trial version?
If so, it's not very helpful if I can't see if the products do what I am
hoping they will do!... |

| Hi,
I just recently set up a database for BCM on my system. I tried copying my
contacts in a public folder on the server, but some of them worked and most
did not. I kept getting an error message, "Some items cannot be copied.
They were either moved or deleted, or access was denied." I am not sure what
this error is referring to. Any guidance would be appreciated.

| The tool needs to be installed on the SQL Server. Once installed the tool
will recognize the SQL server and give you the option to Create a new BCM
databases, share it, back it up...
The Outlook clients are going to need to be able to access that SQL server
in order for this scenario to work.

You would need to put BCM's "master" database on a PC in the office with a
VPN connection so your remote users can connect. They can create an Offline
copy of the BCM database on their PC. If they want to synch it to a handheld
from their PC, they can do it with CompanionLink or Pocket Mirror.

| For some reason your BCM database lose the logical and physical integrity,
this might occur if SQL server get shutdown during some sql transaction. You
need to execute "DBCC CHECKDB" command that assertion suggest.

| I develop a product called Aladdins Office Documents, and I have just
completed the ability to create merge documents in Word from an opportunity.
The Document can contain any info from the Opportunity, the linked Account
or Business Contact and also the Products and Services table can be
recreated in the Document.
