| I have a created a user defined field in BCM which contains the products our
customers sell. In most cases this field contains more than one product
seperated by commas. Can I filter a report to only display accounts if this
field 'contains' text which I specify?

is there a way, to recreate a full BCM-database on another computer for
another owner? i used BCM on a Laptop. now i want to use it on the
workstation and have a local copy on my laptop. But i am not able to open the
DB from the workstation. it always tells me that i am not the owner. what can

| I had the same problem with one of the computers on our network. I solved it
by running the Outlook install disk 1 and selecting "repair". I did not have
to run the BCM disk.

| We have ACT! 6.0 and tried to convert it to a BCM file using the BCM
ImportUtility. The utility finishes and says it converted all 4000 contacts
successfully but the converted file is only a 1 KB file.
When I look at the install log, this is what is shown

OL is installed on 2 user accounts but BCM only appears in one users OL.
The UA with the BCM instance is used to access the network in my office.
When working outside the office the UA without BCM is used. I use the .pst

Assuming you are using Office 2007 goto Tools, Trust Center, Add-ins.
At the bottom you see "Go" next to COM Add-ins
Uncheck BCM.
Same story for enabling it later.

| OK, after further testing, the problem appears to be with either her exchange
acct or her domain acct, I cannot connect her to bcm on any computer, yet she
appears in the list of approved database users in the database tool. The
error message is indicative of someone that does not have permission to
access the database, which makes me wonder if there is a corruption in her... |

| After we rolled out BCM and had everyone dump their business contacts
into the busines contacts in BCM we came to the reialization that by
moving the contacts into the folder everyone lost the data on their
Blackberry's. Well technical nothing was lost all the contacts were
just moved.
This is bad

BCM is included in a retail version of Office 2007 pro, its a seperate
installation on the disk set and has to be explicitly installed

| I've been forced to have two hard disk drives as I slowly migrate to
Windows 7. Even in a simple network with Small Business Server 2003
(which maintains security etc.,) The ramifications of changing over
from one OS to another is a lot of work and testing to see if stuff

| I am no longer able to connect to my BCM data file. I can see it in Windows
Explorer but BCM does not access it nor does it show up in the Data File
Management utility. There is an .ilf and a .mdf file there.
BCM created a second database file which is empty. Any suggestions how to
