| I'm testing BCM to see if it will work better for us in a SMB R2 environment.
Ideally I would like to set up the shared database on the server and then
install each workstation to point to this database. I installed on my
workstation and copied the MSSmallbusiness entries from my root drive to a
shared network drive. I can't get the local/client/workstation to point to

| If you are using BCM, maybe your contacts are in the BCM?
ipaq will not sync any BCM contacts, they have to be in the contacts folder
of Outlook.
Activesync will says "syncing contacts" even if there are 0.
Try putting one contact in OL (or a new one in) and see if it works, then go
from there ..

I just experienced the exact same problem. New laptop transfered my bcm data
from my backup drive. I used the new program for a couple of days with no
problem. so I know the data is there. But now i can not open that existing
file.
Did you resolve your problem? Any ideas?

| Is there any way to make the Smart Tags for Address, Persons, Phone, etc
point to Business Contact Manager Address Book instead of the regular
Contacts.
The idea is when I Click on the Smart Tag for the above and say Add to
Contacts, that it use BCM.

| Does someone have a REAL answer here. I have the same problem and can't get
rid of it. I tried uninstalling, no go, I tried going to cmd function and
utilizing a microsoft employees technique to fix problem which is posted
rather high if you google "sorttbls.nlp", not working actually really screwed
up my machine and had to do a restore to a previous time.

Reminders that just pop up in an instant without deleting valid Tasks created

| The following happened after an email from a colleague in France. If i touch
the spacee bar, it is represented immediately by a dot in the midst of a
letter space. It is has to do with the hidden marks ups of a text oer so ,

shut down unless I go into Task Manager and shut down the Service
OUTLOOK.EXE. When it is up and running, it is constantly synchronizing the

I am not using a non-english version. I did a test and set this up on a
machine running XP Professional and we are all able to connect over the

Often when I start Outlook, a screen appears requesting that I register
Business Contact Manager. Neither the buttons or windows controls on the
screen respond -- i.e., I can neither proceed with registration nor exit the

users filtered on location- this affected all users. Some users were able to
turn off the filter , but for a few the filter returns (in the Advanced tab
