| Hi I am migrating from XP to Windows 7 64. I exported the BCM database in Office
2007 in XP, then within Office in Win7 Office 2007:
a) I linked in my PST
b) I then imported the BCM data over the default empty one
All the email and BCM accounts appear normal but now when I look at a BCM
account History all the emails in there that used to click through to actual
emails, now open copies... |

You need to download the full version and this means you get two
big files. However, as you are only interested in BCM, you need
to double-click on the small file only (254 MB) to install BCM.
I can also confirm that the downloaded version is a full version
(not some trial version!). You don't need to buy anything

| I had to format the HDD and now i'm restoring all the user files. I
thought that the Business Contact Manager (Outlook 2007) info, was
"inside" the .pst Outlook file, but it seems it isn't. As I have a
full backup of the old AppData folder, can anyone please tell me where

"cannot retrieve instances of SQL server. I installed SQL server 2005, but I

When selecting "Follow-up" in the menu, for a BCM contact, the default time
is always 16H : how is it possible to modify this default time reminder ? I
am setting many reminder every days and it's frustrating not to be able to
change it to 9 instead

| The message is normally thrown up when the database hits the maximum size
limit .
You can try exporting and importing the file into a new database and hope it
would do the trick , else you'll need to try exporting the data ,excluding
the items in the history.
If you still have access to the old e-mails , you should be able to use the
e-mail auto linking feature to re-associate... |
