I have Outlook 2007 with one Exchange Server account and an IMAP
account. I have configured the Exchange account as my default mailing
account. I only use the Exchange server calendar (called "Kalender"),
although the OST file for the IMAP account has a calendar (called
"Calendar"), too.

| I'm syncing with Outlook and having same problem. Several reoccurring and non-reoccurring events long past reappear in my Outlook Trash folder each time the synch happens. The dates of all of these hundreds of duplicate events is 7-730PM on 12/31/1979. How can I purge all such events and reset the sync to prevent this from happening again?

| I found the solution to this, courtesy of Bill Wang:

Had SP2 installed, so didn't need the hotfix. Just had to clear the
Download Shared Folders in Advanced Mailbox settings.

turn on logging and see if you can catch the cause.
We recommend not accepting appointments on devices - especially iphones.
They should be view only. They can use rules to autoaccept some meeting
and outlook to accept everything else.

| I just upgraded to office 2007 from 2003, and calendar is behaving
differently. In the past, when someon invites me to a meeting, that
meeting would show up on my calendar as tentative, even though I did
not respond to the invite. Currently in 2007, invites dont show up on
my calendar unless I accept. Is there a seetting that controls this?
I would prefer they show up even if I have not... |

| When I create a meeting notice or an appointment, I send it out. If I edit
the information is sends another request to those on the list asking them
to accept the meeting again. It used to just send them a small icon that
showed them that I updated some information, not have them accept again.
How do I fix this? I have Outlook 2007

view. You can't create a view that lists all. You could export to excel
- that splits them into single events.

| Are you using cached mode and caching the shared calendar? You need to
wait a few minutes for it to sync up and if it doesn't sync up, either
disable cached mode and delete it or clear the cache and resync.

One of users is the delegate for a number of managers. Sometimes (not all
of the time) when she deletes a cancelled meeting (using the 'Remove from
calendar' button), a new meeting is created in its place called:
Cancelled: <orignal meeting> The free/busy for this meeting is free.
She is using Outlook 2010 (32 bit). The exchange server is Exchange 2003.

is checked. It happens when users edit meeting requests and add/remove
attachments, especially for long term recurrences with lots of exceptions.

I'm using Outook 2003.
I have had a repeating 1hr appointment every Thursday (since April
2010) with no end date.
When I do a search for the item, the resulting list view shows every
appointment but only up to Jan 27th.
However if I go into a day, week or month view I see all the repeating
entries after 27th Jan.
The text I search for is the same in the all entries.... |
