during, and after the proposed meeting time when I hover over the calendar
icon in a meeting request. This would eliminate my need to go to my calendar
before coming back to accept/reject the meeting request.

| Could be that your views have become corrupt.
I think you should try using the ".../CleanViews" Command-Line
Switch for Outlook. This restores default views. NOTE: All custom
views you created are lost. This is very simple in that all you do is
open outlook, but not by clicking the icon.

| You don't really delete reminders. We usually dismiss them.
If you dismissed the reminder, it will no longer pop-up.
You need to search your Calendar for the original appointment.
Do you remember the Subject of the appointment? If so, I
would suggest that you search your calendar.

| Outlook 2003 and 2007 does not do the same...
When creating an appointment in a shared calendar using Outlook 2003, the
owne of the calendard will be the organizer.
Using Outlook 2007, the person creating the meeting will be the Organizer.
Is there any sugestion how to change the behaivour of Outlook 2007 so it
work like the old one ?... |

| I have the same problem. I manage a very high volume calendar for my boss
and need to send his availability to multiple CEOs outside of our
organization and Exchange Server.
I feel that Office 2007 did not go far enough to resolve this problem. I
can't send my bosses calendar as a delegate. I still have to manually give
time availability. Do you know is Microsoft will fix this?... |

| I just got an email from an unhappy someone telling me to skip the loud
beeping on the cancellation notice that I sent. She feels meeting
cancellations three weeks out aren't urgent and don't need the loud beep (she
may be right, there).
So when I'm cancelling a meeting, can I change something in the notice so
that it doesn't send out the "urgent message" beep?

scheduler and he is creating events for employees and would like to have an
over all look at all the events occuring in a given week.

| We are using SBS2003 and Outlook 2003, when one particular user sets up a
new meeting request, she sets up the required and optional attendees, then
the meeting room as a resource, the booking is accepted but two entries
appear in the meeting room calendar, this only seems to be with one user but

I create my icalendar from my web and I did set VALARM in .ics file code:

| You select the contents of one, drag and drop on the one you want to kepp.
Repeat with the other Calendar.
To be able to select the contents, change to By Catgeory View. Then select
them all and drag.

| I am not sure that you can change the default to Out of Office (maybe
through making a new form and setting it as your deafult - the forms group
is the place to go)
To change the default Reminder time ofr calendar items: Tools | Options |
right there on that screen!

| I am not sure form your post what exactly you want to do. Can you try
explaining another way?
The options are shown in the Recurrence window. What's not too clear is that
you can say daily every 5 days, weekly every 7 weeks etc.

still exists in the calendar but with status CANCELLED.
I would like to change the status, and make this recurrent meeting active
once again, and send out an update to the participants.

| I print our employees Outlook calendars in weekly style - top to bottom.
However, no matter how I change the font for appointments to be large - they
always come up and print out as 8pt.
Am I missing something? This is not just on my computer - but coworkers as
well.

| I am running Vista Home Basic and have installed Outlook 2007. When I enter
an appointment into the calendar, it shows it on the calendar at the time and
date I entered it, not the time and date the appointment is for.
For example, if at 2:05pm on December 1st I enter an appointment for 12:00pm
on December 5th, the appointment does not show up on my December 5th

MOVE an entry I originally set as an "All day event" by clicking and dragging

| the cached calendar is local to the machine and any updates are suppose to
automatically sync to the network server but it does not work on that
machine...so to answer...yes since it is on a domain.... I have tried to
reinvent the problem on a different machine but it automatically syncs...Im

| I used - File - Archive - only the calendar items and only items older than
12/31/07. I archived them to my pst file. The archive ran briefly. The
items appear to have disappeared from the current calendar (although the
calendar size didn't appear to change). The calendar was created in my pst
file but there aren't any appointments/meetings etc. Any ideas.... |

| I have tried the sync center in vista, and unfortunitly it doesn't work for
me either. I can't remember the error it gave me off hand... This is why I
really hate Microsoft. They don't keep things compatable. I'm surprised I
haven't switched to a Mac yet.

| When I open my calendar in the month view, I see the past five weeks, not the
upcoming month. So this week (last week in Nov) I see this week on the
borrom row, with teh previous five weeks above it, when it would be more
helpful if this week was at the top and I saw the upcoming five weeks.... |

| You can't do it because outlook displays the user's default calendar in the
calendar module first.
You can hide calendars in the list by moving them to a new group then
collapsing the group, but it wouldn't do much good for the default calendar
since outlook will always show the default calendar when you open the
calendar module... plus each user would need to make the new group and... |

problem. It is definitley a task. I did set it for 11AM and it was reminding
me well before 11. Any other ideas? This has heppened with other tasks but I
cannot discern a pattern.
