| I think you are on to something. I associated my liveid with my WindowsXP
login and I have since been able to view my coworkers calendar and Outlook
has been reporting that it is keeping it up to date.
I tried doing the same thing for my coworkers liveid on their WindowsXP but
it didn't fix the problem of her calendar being able to login to get my
calendar information.

| Sorry about the duplication... i thought that i had delete the
previous message.
Problem solved! User had created a calendar in his pst, so the
meeting requests were going into his pst calendar instead of his main
calendar.

| I got a user report the there is Appointment missing serveral times. It is
found that he sent out invitation to the others but the appointment missing
in his Calendar. It is not just a single incident. Sometime, when he send
update of the meeting. The appointment disappear afterward. I checked that
the appointment is not deleted and there is no rules or auto archive for
removing... |

| Another thing to check (besides what Diane has offered)
is where the "system calendar" or "default calendar" resides.
Outlook uses what is called System or Default Folders.
The Calendar folder that is firing the automated stuff is your
designated "Default or System Folder" for the Calendar.
I'm thinking that you have perhaps, a different calendar that is
the designated system folder... |

| Do you have send as rights on the account? if so, and assuming you're
sending it from sharepoint calendars synced to outlook (not from sharepoint
directly) - display the from field and type or select the org acct. in the

| if you need a history, recurring events are not the best way to do it - its
too easy to lose all of your history. Create the events in excel and import
so you have individual items that can safely be moved, copied or edited.

If the dupes are the result of importing and no new items were added since,
sort by the created or modified field then select and delete the items.

| "registry fixers" are a problem.
This issue has been addressed numerous times in the microsoft.public.outlook
groups -
Start->run, type "regsvr32.exe ole32.dll" and press okay. This should
reregister the object and get rid of the error message.

| Yes, the mail server could be removing the tnef data from the message. I
haven't used cpanel in many, many years - but check its options to see if
you can set it to not remove the data - many servers refer to it as Outlook
/Exchange encoding.

| The aim is to sync between Outlook with my WM phone using Activesync which in
turn gets synced to Google Calendar using Goosync. The multiple Google
Calendars would each be linked to a Category within my main Outlook calendar.
Since that calendar is shared with others at work, I would like all
appointments in these categories to be marked private. I don't want to mark

| another option would be to use Outlook 2007 and publish the calendar to the
internet using a webDAV server or hosted service. We publish ours by
enabling webDAV on our webserver and phpicalendar. The phpicalendar will
read your .ics calendar file automatically and convert it to a web view which
is much nicer than the defaul saving to a web page. In addition, the
calendar is updated... |
