| If you can see them in By Category view, it’s a bug in exchange.

| Secondary calendars in your mailbox can't be opened using File, Open, Other
users folders.... they need to add your mailbox to their profile instead.
(with proper permissions they will only see the calendar.)

| If he is logging into the website to read email, he is probably using
Outlook Web Access (OWA). Ask your email admin how to access mailboxes using
OWA and if "Outlook Anywhere" is enabled. If Outlook Anywhere is enabled,
your boss can set up Outlook 2003 or 2007 to access his mailbox, otherwise
he can use web access.

| Using Groupwise 7 for one account, Outlook 2007 (Exchange 2007) for another.
I have a recurring appt in Groupwise that I want delegated to my Exchange
account via Outlook. However, when I receive the email in Outlook, it sends
an attachment (*.ics) and clicking on it shows a window saying that it's an
invalid calendar (or appointment) file. Can this be done?

| Thanks Diane. I tried the previous suggestion again, first making sure that
the Outlook process was gone. That did not work.
I tried your suggestion, turning off reminders, and that did not work. I
did make sure that the Outlook process was gone after closing Outlook, before
reopening it.

app that is will fix it. What's odd is why CA is even touching appointments.

| My users often call me to say that the shared calendars they are using
have disappeared. I did the research, and apparently it can be a
corrupt navpane (which can be cured by running outlook.exe /
resetnavpane) or it can be a known bug with no solution:

| Hi Mindy, what Office suite are you using?? Office 2003 or Office 2007 etc.
I had this same problem. I had both Office 2003 installed as well as Office
2007 for support reasons. I un-installed Office 2003, rebooted and repaired
Office 2007. Issue is now resolved.... |

| I am about to arrange a work shop for 2500 attendees. Most of these attendees

| Started from scratch.
Sent all data to archive, removed all files, reinstalled outlook, created
new profile.
Reminders are working again and no errors.
One thing to note, the contact check box is still grey and disabled. As it
doesn't seem to be creating any problems, I'm not going to worry about it.

Outlook doesn't take any active part in the sync process. It's all
controlled by the program you use to sync. There are no settings in Outlook

| I am trying to update the "E-mail Account" on some appointments in my Outlook
2007 calendar. I have older appointments that reflect one e-mail account,
and newer appointments show another e-mail account. I've changed my default
email address in Outlook which I presume is the reason why the change in
account names.

did you try resetting the view?

you're not using an Exchange Server mailbox. You can have more than one set
but typically all of your default data is stored in one and that's
typically, without the use of third-party addins, reminders will get fired

| Either the ws.repeat appointment tool or create them in excel and import.
Or create series for every tues and delete the first one each month- but I
don't like meeting exceptions. The biggest problem is making them meeting
requests - so I'd probably make one event for each of the 2nd, 3rd ad 4th
Tues then for the 5th as needed.
