| When inviting attendees and looking at their schedule, it defaults to showing
me 24 hours. I click on "show working hours" under options, but it doesn't
stay and I can't figure out how to set it to show working hours by default.... |

| First you would need to configure your BIOS to start the computer up at
6 am or so, then you would need to configure the Scheduled tasks to
start Outlook with your profile and run a script that you design to
print the calendar, and then close out. So if you can do all that then
you can have your wish.

calendars. We have been using the "day event" and "Daily Note" fields to as
an In/Out board. When these are imported into Exchange/Outlook they become
day events. As mentioned above, when there are lots of day events in a Day

| Boss has a shared calendar. He has deleted an appointment of his calendar and
no others who share his calendar have this appointment. He has republished to
web and the appointment is still there.
We have deleted all files in the server folder and republished--still there!
We've tried re adding/deleting as well.
There's nothing to delete any longer, but it still shows up on the web... |

| Did you assign permissions to the folder? Right click on the Calendar and
choose properties, then permissions and change the permissions the person's
account has.
Follow the steps for Sharing the folder at
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sharesubfolder.asp - reduce permissions to
remove them.
If you used Delegates, this is in tools, options, delegates.

| That is proper behavior. You are inviting the DL - the members of the DL
respond. If you expand the DL before sending, then it should record the
individuals.

| It's really not something your can repro at will - in my experience, it only
happens with some of the 'add to calendar' links that are generated on the
fly when you make reservations.
SP2 fixed a lot of calendar issues, so that should be installed, if its not
installed already.

| you can't delete the calendar, only the contents in it. Switch to the By
Category view, select all and delete.
Either break the sync/make a new partnership before syncing or make sure you
have a backup copy of the calendar - it might be deleted in the first sync.

| I review about 20 different calendar's within my organization and there's one
calendar I cannot remove. This person has actually left the company I work
for and no longer has an Exchange mailbox. When trying to delete the
calendar it says that it cannot connect to the Exchange server. I have
permissions to review all of these calendars including the one that I'm

| I’m having trouble with Outlook 2007. Every time I add or delete a person to
a meeting series and I specifically clicked “only send update to added or
deleted attendees” an update goes out to every person on the distribution
list instead of just those who were added and deleted.
Could this possibly be a bug?? Thanks for your help!... |

| Turn off the option to show end times before printing - right click on the
calendar and choose other settings - remove the check from Show end times.
You might also want to try the calendar printing assistant or a Word
template - they tend to make better printouts. See

| Are you using Rules Wizard on incoming meeting requests or automatic
formatting rules in a custom view?
Categories and colors work differently in Outlook 2007 (in Outlook 2003,
colors were Labels, not color categories). In Outlook 2007, if you assign a
color category, automatic formatting rules won't change the color - the
category wins.

| Potentially answering part of my own question...
Besides the "Remind Beforehand" field which seems to want a numeric
value, there is the "Reminder" field which seems to be on/off or
"Bell" / No Bell" I guess if set to "No Bell" then regardless of the
value in "Remind Beforehand" you would not be reminded?... |

| When in Calendar view, I like to use the month, and also at the right I like
to see 6 months of the small calendar, as well as the task list below that.
However, when I close Outlook and then open Outlook again, the calendar view
goes back to showing just the month view. It won't seem to keep the view as
I set it. I've looked everywhere I can think, but can't seem to find a fix.... |

Outlook version? What did you do just prior to it not showing? Are you
synching with another application/device? If yes, what? What are your
