I have imported contacts from a Microsoft Access database to my outlook
contacts.
They all appear in my outlook contacts list - fine. However when I try to
create distribution lists all I can see are the old records in the 'select
members' box.

I have tried deleting all of my contacts and starting again, however I can
still only see records from my original contacts list (the ones keyed in
manually as opposed to imported) in fact I have now deleted all of the
manually keyed records and imported a clean list from access - once again
they all appear in outlook contacts
yet the deleted contacts are the only ones I see when I attempt to create a
new distribution list (NB they are not in the address book) Someone please
tell me I'm not doing something strupid - is there a bug in Outlook imported
contacts?

I am using Ms Outlook 2003 - SP3
and Ms Access professional 2003

I would be very grateful for an answer to this problem
