Here is my scenario:
I move an Email into a folder.
Then I set a category and a follow-up date.
When that Email appears as a task on the due date the 'In Folder' is
always blank.
Am I misunderstanding something?

| Outlook 2010 on Server 2008 dual monitors - when I display a message on my primary monitor and I select delete, next or previous the subsequent email window opens slightly shifted from the original location. If I do the same thing on the secondary monitor the subsequent email window opens in the same location. The default appears to be that they open on the primary monitor. Anyone know why... |

Thanks for replying and my apologies for the delay in responding.
I added the "In Folder" field and realised I kept missing it in the chooser
as I was looking for "Folder"!
However the entire column stays empty and doesn't fill with the folder
location of each message.
Very strange.
Is there something else I need to do?

| After huge amount of search and trying out all possible answers that i found (frustrated all the way)- nothing worked. then a guess work - changing the mail format to rich text instead of html worked for me.

| I know this is a reach but I sync my Outlook Contacts & Appointments
with my iPhone. I have done so without incident for years. Lately
when I sync neither of the two gets synced (in either direction).
Apple says everything is set properly on their end. Is there possibly
any setting in Outlook that may be causing the Appointment & Calendar
not to sync.?

failed deliveries like as below.
I have not sent messages to these addresses, there are dozens of
repeats, they come from:-

| I prefer to post notes to mailing lists in plain text so replies can use the ">" convention by default. I get annoyed when people post notes or replies in rich text because it defaults to "reply at top".
