By doing this you obstruct the main purposes of an Exchange mailbox.
Instead, leave the delivery location as the Exchange mailbox and use rules
to move messages to the PST. In fact, you can have one rule that moves all
items using the Messages form to the PST, leaving all other items types in
the mailbox where they belong.

Not as long as there's an Exchange account in the mail profile.
