If your account is on an Exchange server, I wouldn't expect any issues. If
your account is POP, save a copy of your PST before updating, create a new
mail profile after updating, and connect that profile with your old PST.
Once you've done that, create a new PST (which will be in a newer format
allowing more data to be kept), transfer the data in the old PST to the new
PST, and change the mail profile to make the new PST the delivery location,
removing the old PST from the profile.
