| Hi,
I am help a few users that had the same problem when they archive their
inbox with alot of sub-folders etc.. it will stop archiving after a time it
show error with not much meaning. I had track the problem down what is
causing this is email message that contain attachment being blank ! and
usually is 64bytes.
The question is how do I help these users track those messages meeting... |

We have an Exchange 2003 Server and Outlook 2003 clients. Most, if not all
are fine, but a couple of clients are unable to send emails (both internal
and external) when Cached Mode is selected. Without Cache Mode they are
fine, but I would prefer them (like 99% of my other clients) to be on Cached
Mode.

| I am using a Windows Vista laptop with RPC over HTTP in Outlook 2007 and I
get the same error everytime I close. I did create a new profile. I opened

| My understading of these files were that the SRS file contains Send and
Receive Settings and the XML file contains Outlook Viewing settings. However
it would seem that when I recently deleted my SRS file, I lost all my view
settings despite my XML file being intact.
Does anyone know if there's a way that I can preserve my settings in this
scenario? Unfortunately a read-only SRS... |

Yep I notice went it auto archive it product the archive file as archive.pst
too. I did think of rename this using a batch file or somethings.
Any tip on this batch I know to some is very easy.

| The SBS's are both still working it is not an upgrade it is a new server and
the old one will come offline once all the other functions are migrated. The
problem goes away if I disconnect the old server but as I wish to keep both
servers on line so my problem is Outlook 'finding' a different server for the
address book that that allocated to the mailbox store and how to stop it... |

| Check to make sure your view under menu View - Current and make sure it is not set to show only Unread Items for This Folder.
Also check to see if any Rules are setup to automatically delete emails. Tools - Rules.
May also want to check to see if any auto-archiving is setup by righ clicking on the Folder and selecting Archiving though this may be the least likely since it is based... |

deleted original "stuck" backup with a new one waited few days did another
backup to verify if it had backed up the intermediate messages which it had.

happens. If yes, please give us more details, e.g. the account type(s)
you use (POP/SMTP, IMAP, Exchange Server). Do you have a PST file that
is approaching 2GB in size?

Mailbox and not what causes the Mailbox full message.
I suggested days ago: "First up you need to find out what is in your
mailbox. Right click the
Mailbox (at the very top of the folder list). Properties | Folder size.

| Does it get deleted or does Outlook just have a problem opening it or
accessing it? Check if the file still exists. If you find it see if it opens
directly and possibly run scanpst.exe on it.
Does she have different permissions to you? I'd try a PST in the same
location you save it with the same permissions as you.

deleting my deleted folder, but they return when I click on send/receive! At

| Hi I have a large collection of my email sent over the past decade.
Unfortunately through the many conversions from Outlooks to Eudoras
and whatnot, all of my Sent items sent before 2000 have the date set
to "none". When I import this to another mail program, it sets that
date to the current day, which is not what I want.
