| I am having an unusual problem and hope someone can help. I am using outlook
2003 exchange. I am set up with delegate access for my boss's email/calendar.
Since I started receiving copies of the meeting request, when I go to look at
the item on the calendar (even if it was accepted) it shows Xs by all the
attendees and no calendar information available for all attendees. I don't

I have all the functionality EXCEPT when I click on Insert/Direction
and Map into Appointment - I get the directions BUT not the map.
I am running Outlook 2007 stand alone (home PC) not part of any
exchange server.
Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong?
I see the map when I go to the location tab - it is just not inserting
into the appointment

Find a Word (*.doc) file on your PC> Right click it> Select Open With...>
Select Choose Program (Make sure you do this step)> Select MS Word & Check

an html file etc. When I go to compose an e-mail I cannot see the image even
though I have changed my settings for automatically downloading photos. I can
see photos of html e-mails I receive from other people. How do I make ir so

Try closing the second windows that opens. Then, in the first one, click
File>Exit. Now restart Outlook. Has the problem changed?

ground with technology!!)
Many of our users have manually created shortcuts and groups of shortcuts in
the Outlook Bar in Outlook 2000. When we upgrade them to Outlook/Office 2003

| I don't have a Gmail address so I can't check, but could it be that Gmail
replaces the email address? See if you get the same results when you put in
the SMTP settings of your own ISP.

Alas, Quick Parts does not open.
However, what I did attempt was to create a new set of QUICK PARTS.
When I highlighted, for example, a "signature block," the QUICK PARTS Icon
allowed me to save it as a new QP. I added two others as well.
HOWEVER, when I rebooted my computer and restarted OL2007, my previously
save, "new" QP vanished.

you have to add this to your registry:

| I imported a users email into a new account. It brought in everything but I
can't seem to get the SENT mail folder to sort by DATE showing the RECEPIENT.
It shows the SENDER/USERS name on all. We used to have it sorted the other
way and I have it set as:
View/Arrange By/Date (checked)/Show in Groups (checked)
/Current view/Sent To (checked)

| There is no need to export anything; POP3 mail is already stored in a
pst-file.
You can deploy the new account configuration by using prf-, msp- or
cmw-files. See the Office Resource Kit of your Office version for more info.

| Haha, yeah, that happens. But a DMS doesn't mean that you should drop all
other organizing techniques. I reckon that they want a DMS to also increase
productivity? Not having your mail sorted correctly doesn't exactly help
with that. Perhaps you should give them that as an answer ;-)

happily move back in targeting Outlook :-D
You really have to remember to shut it off when done and only have it
running when you actually need it.

Dell Optiplex 755's running Office Basic 2007. I loaded a system step by
step, restarting and testing to see what actually locked it up. I think it
has to do with mapped drives not reconnecting properly after login, but I'm

"activ".
