| When responding to an email, if I leave the screen for another window, when I
come back, the screen is black and I cannot make out any text. Only started
in the last two weeks, so not sure what changes caused it. If I delete the
border line separating the reply from the original message, the "blackness"

If you need help troubleshooting this issue, you'll need to provide a whole
lot more info.
The Event Viewer is a good place to start with analyzing your issue.

| Real dumb about the computor. I have deleted the folders that all the
important emails that I needed to keep. I was shown another way instead of
keeping them in OUTLOOK, I could drag them over to a folder under MY
DOCUMENTS. Well when I go to open them, there is nothing there. How can I get

| I've answered my own question. I run OfficeCalendar to synchronize the
Outlook calendars and task folders. I have not payed attention to the length
of time it takes for the folders to synchronize, and I've had it set to sync
every 10 minutes. Apparently, it takes longer than 10 minutes to sync, so
it's been "compounding" on itself, so to speak. It's this process that uses

| Not quite sure I follow what you are asking. Are you trying to ask how to
prevent the creation of cached mode exchange profiles and/or the use of
Offline Storage (*.OST)? If this is what you are truly asking, then yes,
this can be disabled using Group Policy objects.

from a linked contact. (Imagine, you add more than one contact to the Links

| Did you ever try your code in a browser? It doesn't even work then as it is
a wrong implementation of the syntax.

| Not quite sure what archive rule means so I'll opt to mean that you set
auto-archive settings. Just so you know, you have to check two places to
ensure auto-archive does its job.
1) Global options are are at Tools > Options > Other tab > Archive (make
sure engine is one and set to an every "x" day pattern you desire)

| Java has nothing to do with this. It's more likely that Javascript has
something to do with this. Although they have a similar name, they are
unrelated.
Office also has nothing to do with Internet scripts. You probably get this
issue when browsing the Internet? Contact support for the Internet browser
that you are using.

| Outlook 2000 is not supported with Exchange 2007. It *MIGHT* work, but
it's not supported.
Another option, if you just need e-mail, would be to use Outlook 2000 as
a POP client to Exchange 2007 - but I don't think that's a very good
solution.
Outlook 2007 is the best client for Exchange 2007 - fully supported.

| I spend an hour on the phone with Apple support and they wouldn't even acknowledge this was a problem. They had me reload the Apple and iTunes software on my PC. Big waste of time.

| normal PST file resolved issue. it would appear there is some problem with
the remote store.
As a varification for the message store that i was fine, i ran that store on
my machine and it worked fine. i also ran a diagnostic using the Softalk
admin program and the store/dbase is fine.
i will uninstall his office suite, and reinstall using office 2007. I have
high hopes that... |
