| I have been having the same problem. Have you created any yearly
appointments in Outlook? When I create a yearly appointment in Outlook, the
Server Status for the Calendar goes into "Error" on the next sync. If I
delete that appointment, all is well again. Also, if I change the
appointment from yearly to daily or weekly, it also syncs fine and the error
goes away.

| In answer to your first question, restore from the backup. If you do not
back up your data files, then you are probably out of luck.
In answer to your second question, using the "dumpsteralwayson"
method (see below link) you can recover items from any Exchange

| Another thing to check is...was this a pst that was copied from a cd?
It is in "Read Only" on the CD. You need to copy it onto a
drive. Then select the properties of the file and turn off the
Read Only. To select the properties, just right click the file and
select "Properties".
Once you have done this you should be able to open
the data file into your Outlook program.

message. (Or call them and ask them to delete it.)
If you don't want to do this, then you can use Magic Mail Monitor. This

| Then it would appear that either your method of copying the origonal was at
fault or pasting it caused a problem.
If you still have the origonal copy on your other drive can you run scanpst
on the origonal?
If the answer is no, then that copy is corrupt, if scanpst runs on it ok
then copy that file to your Documents folder, then open it within Outlook

| I have noticed a couple of our users who's mailto: address shows a different
email address to their smtp address, usually an old users address.
We have the users email addresses in the email footers, when you look at
this in rich text you see the correct email address (usera@domainname.com)
and the mailto: address (userb@domainname.com).

- TOOLS
- OPTIONS
- SPELLING tab
If there is a check mark next to "Use AutCorrect when Word isn't
the e-mail editor":
- Click AUTOCORRECT OPTIONS...
Make sure the check mark is on next to "Capitalize first letter of

| I installed the 2007 verions of Outlook. I get repeated popups of logon to
network. For example anytime I do a send/receive, I get a prompt to logon to
the network. I did not see this before and it does not occur in Outlook
Express or Internet Browser. I checked to make sure Outlook has my userid

recently installed. Check out this link, if you recently added a pdf program
or other program that interacts with Outlook.

| This can and happens not only with Norton but with MacAfee,Trend and most Anti Virus that is set to scan incoming and outgoing emails.
Disable the email integration of your Anti Virus or Security Suite. In some cases the Anti Virus has to be uninstalled and then re-installed without the email integration.

with test or comments between them, all of the photos end up as attachments
instead of opening in the body of the email. They have to be opened one by
one, which ruins the effect of the messages and drives me crazy! Is there a
setting to change so that the photos will stay in the body of an email sent

accounts but discontinued and deleted three profiles no longer being used.

| I find myself in a similar situation. I reconfigured my Outlook 2007 to the
classic settings of previous editions. Now I would like to return to the
new mail format and cannot get it done. I uninstalled and reinstalled Office
2007 twice, but Outlook never returns to its original format.
