If you are receiving this message for PSTs for which you never added
passwords, then your backup procedure has corrupted them. Have you tried
simply opening the PSTs? File>Open>Outlook Data File. Chances are, though,
that you'll still be prompted for than non-existent password.

Describe IN DETAIL exactly how you created these backups and how you restored
them to the PC.
