Hi, I accidentally deleted operating system files while freeing capacity on my C drive so I had to reinstall my operating system (XP) and MS Office Professional Edition 2003. Microsoft Outlook is still giving me problems after the reinstallation. When I try to create a new email profile, I get an error message: "The operation failed due to a registry or installation problem. Restart Outlook and try again. If the problem persists, please reinstall". I tried creating a new email profile per the following links: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315048/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287072/en-us and a few different links on the discussion board, however, when I get to the point "7. In the E-mail Accounts dialog box, click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next," the software/computer will not allow me to make any adjustments to this dialogue box. I have tried repairing/reinstalling the software without any success. What else can I try? Thanks!
