| The reason to remove and re-install is that Microsoft Office Update fails to
install. For two weeks I get a failed install alert. The only Office program
is Outlook.
I tried the repair, but I get the 1402 notice that I do not have enough
permoission to work on my own system. I go to regedit and try to change the
permissions. NO GO! It's a pile of steaming cow plop that I can't fix... |

Within Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > Options > Other tab > Advanced
Options button > Custom Forms. Change temporary storage space to a
different number* > OK out of the dialogs and then reboot computer. Still
get the error at this point?

| Well, I spoke too soon. The McAfee list was news to me, but it hasn't stopped
the disappearing "Sent" e-mails. This is very bizarre. Both the Inbox and the
Sent folder are set to "Do not archive" in the properties menu.
Does the box that notes network administrator retention policies have any
bearing? I am my own little home network and that box says the administrator
has not set... |

Somehow you have 2 versions of Office loaded into your PC. The above
registry is telling Ms Word 2007 not to register when it is open.

I have a user who has the same issue and she already has SP3 for Office 2003.
She was able to add three other users to review her calendar, but now that
she's moved onto a new laptop, she can't do it. She gets the error message
saying that she does not have sufficient permission to do so, even though she
was able to do it before.
Very odd.

| I have 1 pop email and 4 free live email accounts set up in my outlook 2007.
Even though I have the remember my password checked, I intermittently get a
sign-in box for one or more of my live email accounts. Also, sometimes the
password is already entered and other times I have to manually enter it.
