| I did not get an answer from anyone yet.
But to add some extra cents to the coin treasury, I re-created the
outlook.ost file. I then noticed that if you allow the attachment to do an
autopreivew once on any excel attachment, after that, any other excel
attachment will work by double clicking on it regularly.

| Yes! I solve the problem by switching the mail server. Merak mail server does
not support Outlook2007. After switching to Smartermail everying is O.kay now.

| I have the same problem. I uninstalled Office 2007 and reinstalled Office
2003. I can use Word and html as my editor, and my signature works.
However, when I press the Send/Receive button, I get the ole error. I have
tried reinstalling 2003 again (repair) and I have tried registering the
ole32.dll. Neither helped.
Anything else I can try?

| I'm not able to do any operation with my outlook, i could only just read the
mails expect that nothing can be processed. When im trying to perform any
action it is giving an pop-up error message "Not Implemented". Can somebody

| Its likely to do with mail scanning and as such the installation of McAfee
is corrupted in some way, so probably its not scanning mail - not that you
need to enable any AV app to intergrate with outlook anyway, provided it has
real time scanning

| Problem solved.
Program ID's indicated that I did in fact a different version of
Outlook 2007 installed from a previous stand-alone version.
As un-install does not remove profiles or other configurations, I
simply removed outlook using the add/remove program section and then
re-installed from the Office Professional 2007 CD.
This would indicate to me that the problem experienced... |

| unless orange offers POP3 or IMAP, you can't use it. Outlook's HTTP service
only works with MSN/Live/Hotmail.

| I don't know if it’s a bug with Outlook 2003 on x64 or if its something
goofy with your machines. I know its not something specific to x64, as it
does work with Outlook 2007.

NEVER import from a PST. There's no need, you can corrupt your new mail
profile, and importing does not include all the data in the old PST. ust
reuse the old PST in the new profile.

| Well if you are refering to Outlook, Importing is rarely the way to go.
All data, mail contacts, calender etc is contained within the data file
(*.pst)
You should locate these file(s) open them within Outlook, and copy data from
old to new

| Since all Outlook data resides in only one file, one must wonder how you
managed to to that. Perhaps you should tell us, precisely, including your
Outlook version.
You never transfer Outlook data by importing.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

| Brian, I really appreciate your help!!! Compacting my original pst was the
answer for me. I didint even know you could do that. It took my original
pst from 3GB to 25MB. I am stable for now and finally got things where I

| You have introduced a new unrelated issue. Two things you need to understand
to help you accomplish this:
1. If Outlook's email account autodetection feature fails, dismiss it and
configure your account manually. Personally, I never use account
autodetection. It's a good idea that was poorly implemented.
2. Outlook always creates a new default PST file when you create a new

| That is an issue with Word. The fact that you are opening it from Outlook
doesn't change that. Excel has the same issue as Word. So far I haven't
found a solution to it.
