1. I followed your instruction and was given the option only to make it
inactive, which I did. Reopened Outlook to test and now all the the add-ins
are in the Inactive section, none in Active, none in Disabled. Dialogue box
as described in original message came up again, upon reopening.

| When you share the Contacts folder without Cached Mode enabled, the changes
are instant. You are looking directly at what's in the Exchange database.
There is no possibility that you can see any delay.

Uninstalling and re-installing Outlook will NOT lose a single byte of your
saved email. It sounds like you have a damaged Outlook profile. This can
easily happen when using the .PST export/import functions because they are

think decision has been made to get either office 2003 or 2007 to put on new
computer with Vista once computer is purchased just to ensure a totally clean
setup. We have couple other issues like Quickbooks 2004 Mfg & Wholesale to
work with Vista and then getting our MSQL server with a specific program to
be set up to work with Vista.

| No help, there is no Outlook 2004 nor is there an Outlook Express 2004.
Outlook versions are 97, 98, 2000, 2002 (XP), 2003, and 2007. Outlook
Express would be version 3, 4, 5, or 6. What program do you actually have?

| As long as your settings on each computer are configured to leave
messages on the server, you should be fine. However, over time,
messages will pile up on the server, and you may eventually reach a
maximum size limit imposed by your E-mail provider.

As you may know, OL2007 uses Word (or a "stub" of Word, if you don't
have it) to display and edit messages. Hopefully you have Word;
otherwise I'm not sure how to fix this.

Please try the below steps (if you have not already tried) and let me know
if that works for you.
1. Type control userpasswords2 in the RUN field and click on OK.
2. Click on the advanced tab
3. Click on Manage Passwords.
4. Click on Add
5. Enter your logon credentials and click on OK.
6. Close all the windows.

and select Properties from the context menu.
In the Microsoft Office Outlook Properties window, find the "Target"
