Add/Remove program applet in the control panel is the place to go when you
want to uninstall a product. (After you uninstall Office 2007, you want to
check the root of your C: drive to ensure that the hidden MSOCache folder is
removed. If it isn't, it means you have other Microsoft products installed
from the Office 2007 product line and could cause a repeat of whatever
install problems you have had.

PS - Visio 2007 (reader or full versions) is an example of a product that
falls under my last statement.
