For many reasons, the Calander function and Appointments tend to rule my work day. However, I am in a larg org ( Government body) and we have offices across the city.. Not every one has full access (Privacy and HR issues), but most can see if time is booked etc. Many fail to take any notice of the coding that indicates if out of office etc.. Problem is that; I will be booked on one side of the city (9:00am to 10:30am) and some one will book me 10:30 to 11:30. But they are on the other side... Thus I can not make it, and often it means, a number of calls to get a new meeting time.. In addition ther are always the other trips, that involve significant travel out of town. In addition, while there is a travel / setup / debrief component both pre and post appointment to consider. The other issue is, that I often have to book a portable projector (if not in the room) and the room. Thus my ideal system would have an extra feature when it comes to appointments. 1: If creating the appointment, I can invite attendies, include myself and rescources, but apply a pre and post time component on my self. Just two little extra field to the right of the Start / End (all day event) times. 2: If reciving an appointment, and when accepting then the ability to be able to apply a pre and post time component on my self. 3: It could even be a default time to be applied when ever the time is "out of office". Note: Pre is often shorter than the Post for many reasons. At present... I end up waisting time to book extra appointments for both the pre and post meeting times...... Is this just me wanting more, or is this a feature that would be of use to many busy people that are on the road ? So how does one request an enhancement ? Regards mark
