| The marks outlook uses are unique to each acct/computer (and stored in the
pst), so the other outlook's should be able to download it. It's possible
that horde handles it differently than other mail servers - I know I've
never had a problem downloading mail from multiple machines and reading it
online - the web client sees all mail as unread. I haven't used a Horde
server though.... |

| OOF are server side rules, junk mail is client side - so the OOF is
generated by the server when the message arrives but the junk mail is not
filtered until outlook downloads it. IMF and other server side filtering
may run before OOF but there is always generally things that slip through
those filters that Outlook grabs.

Diane Poremsky [MVP] |

27 Nov |
| You can use rules to fire scripts - but you'll need net send enabled or a
third party utility that supports network communications - outlook alone
can't do anything like this (other than forward messages to other
addresses).
Scripts are a client side rule, so outlook will need to be running for it to
work (assuming you use Exchange).

There is a bug in one update that makes it look like outlook is continually

also, you shouldn't check for new mail any more frequently than 8 -10 min.
