I'm getting the "Cannot start MS Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window. The set of folder cannot be opened...." error message. I'm using Outlook 2007. I've tried all of the usual fixes including resetnavpane and so on, safe mode, admin escalation and so on. I've given up trying to fix the problem - the profile is obviously broken. I'm not sure how this happened and it really should not happen. Anyway, is there anyway that I can access a password protected personal folder archive that was associated with this profile? I have the password but obviously if I cannot start Outlook I can't access the opportunity to open the archive. Interestingly the error is thrown up just after Outlook asks me for the password for this archive. Hopefully I have not lost all of the archived messages/files.
