| You never import Outlook data. You now have a corrupt profile.
Transfer your data file to your hard drive and make sure you note its name
an location. If you can, use the Mail applet in Control Panel > Data File
Management to add that file to your profile, then set it as your default.
If you are unable to do that, then you must create a new profile from

| if you have send as, it will always use the shared mailbox acct to forward.
You can change it - show the from field and delete the mailbox name - it
should go from your main acct (no need to select your name, the blank field
defaults to your acct).

| I figured out that the Tools, Options, Preferences, Contact Options dialog
box contains the correct option to make the appropriate selection. However,
on this system, the field that allows you to change the Default "Full Name"
order: is greyed out and so doesn't allow us to choose the proper one. I'm
looking into the problem with our tech support.

| Outlook 2007 connecting to exchange 2003 on SBS2003.
When I close outlook it shuts properly, until I set it to empty the
deleted items on exit.
Then when i close it, the old dialogue box 'are you sure' seems to pop
up for an instant, disappear, and I am left with outlook still. Hit
close again and it closes.
Any ideas?

(i.e. via view > options or a generated prompt)
It kind of defeats the reason for using a computer :-)
from my side I still cannot believe that such a simple filtering operation

| You can, in an Exchange environment, tell who is in and who is out before
you send them an email. There are two quick ways:
1. Make a Group Schedule
2. Open an email from them, right click their name and wait a sceond or two
for the Free/Busy calendar data to appear. If your IT people have set it up
to do so, you'll also see their telephone number and building location.

Perhaps I did not make this clear ... I am attempting to filter OUTGOING
emails and I want to identify an email address (in this case an alias on one
of my configured accounts).

them open yet minimized. What we're finding is that the 15min reminder pops
up for our bosses but not for us.
Is there a way to get our shared copies to also remind us of an upcoming

| Same here. I have an office live essentails account and i use this for my
business. all the accounts are having this problem. And I have deleted and
re-added the accounts to my outlooks and it fails after a few minutes after.
Hope they get it fixed soon.

| In Outlook 2007, I am having 2 problems, if anyone can help.
First and biggest is Outlook hangs and I have to reboot, when I hit
send
receive. It gets 50% of the way through and then freezes.
Ive tried making a new identity, removing and reloading the program,
tried
using microsoft restore (couldnt restore to prior to the problem) and
various other fix attempts, all with no luck.... |
