I'm using Outlook 2007, when I create a distribution list, the icons do not
display for Distribution List/Inser/Formal Text. When I click on
distribution List, the icons will display but the Name of the distribution
list and the list of users is covered. I look at another colleagues pc and
it doesn't happen on theirs. Did I shut something off?

| I often need to copy-paste appointsments from another PIM application
into outlook. Very often I then get an error popup with the subject
content.
What could cause this? I doubt it is memory, since I have 2GB RAM and
taskmanager currenly claims only 1.4GB as being in use, so what other

| I have essentially the same problem, but this also ends up sending the same
emails at every scheduled Send/Receive.
I created a new data file, brought the old mail over, closed the old data
file.
Now the problem has started all over again.
When I try to delete the OUTBOX mail, I get the message "The messaging

| Are you saying you created a new .PST file for the new contacts? If so, yes,
you can move it to the network while Outlook is closed and then point Outlook
to it when you reopen it. However, this is not recommended, especially the
part about sharing the file between two locations. Storing a .PST file on a
network share is a good way to corrupt the file; if your PC loses the network... |

and Automatic Out of Office messages to the Internet are disabled by default
in Exchange Server; this is done to prevent e-mail loops (which can VERY
quickly bring an e-mail server to it's knees).

| Hey, i have a strange problem, in our setup we have signatures on our
client
machines.
We also want to work with standard formulars.
The thing is, on 1 machine, the formula is placed over the signature,
which
is correct, but on several other machines the formula is placed under
the
signature, not good ;o)

I created a new profile, set it to be the default and launched Outlook. It
still launched in secure mode. I dragged the emails from the other profile
over to the new one, deleted the old profile and pst files (having taken a
copy). On restart I'm still stuck in secure mode.

| Windows Desktop Search 3.01 is what you need. I don't know of a product
called "Instant Search Desktop". I think it now comes with a UI that also
gives you desktop searching.
First check you have the right application and latest version installed.
Next check your indexing options via the entry in Control Panel and Tools |
Options | Preferences ... Search Options.
