I have an exchange server 2007, SP1, and am using Outlook 2007 to
connect to exchange. I can get my emails and everything works fine.
But sometimes, if I close out exchange, but go back to it, I'll have to
enter my username and password. If I do that again sometime later, I won't
get asked for username/password. It does this every so often, but I know
it's not supposed... |

easier to just go with something like Veriozon, Comcast, etc.....that way she
can bypass that connector business entirely. Why did they take something

clients. We recently posted a network install of 2007 client in an attempt
to let users voluntarily upgrade whether they are on 2007 exchange or not.
As users continue to upgrade about 20% of them are not able to connect to

| Based on the screenshot, a person more familiar with MSN says it looks like
the same scan hotmail does and it is not configurable - as in, you can not
disable it.
I can't repro the virus scan using the connector with an outlook live acct
and don't use NOD so I don't know if it happens to everyone using msn
premium or only to connector users whose AV protection is not registered in... |

| Due to how Outlook handles version CLSID's and how the PIA's are installed
you really are going to have to end up developing on a machine with Outlook
2000 installed so everything ends up working correctly at run time on all
versions. That also means no support for anything added to the object model
after Outlook 2000 and no Ribbon support for Outlook 2007.

I click on it and it asks me to install desktop search.
To get rid of the message I did so but I could not install everything about
desktop search.

| I have the exact same issue. Started 1 week afetr setting up new PC at xmas.
I de and reinstalled everything (Office 2007 Enterprise, outlook connector)
and de & reinstalling a few times, outlook worked fine...for a month. The
same issue has now re-occured today and I cannot keep outlook open for more
than 10 seconds...it constantly restarts itself, and will not connect to my

| Just a thought about the Advanced Find - before starting the search, click
Browse to see what folders Outlook will search (it will search the currently
in-use folder by default) but 2007 does not seem to check sub-folders unless
you specifically check the tick box bottom left in the Browse option.

(I could name it anything else). I add commands myself and its
dissapears once the program is closed, or some commands disappear. Is

Did you back up it? Or did you move in stead of copy?
I'm affraid you moved it to the network share. Only moving it can't
